  • BS3601 320
    BS3601 320 refers to the hardness value of the steel pipe is about 320, with medium hardness, good processability and weldability.
  • BS3601 360
    BS3601 360 refers to the hardness value of the steel pipe is about 360, the hardness is high, suitable for specific applications with high requirements for material hardness.
  • BS3601 430
    BS3601 430 refers to the steel pipe hardness value of about 430, with extremely high strength and wear resistance, the need for some special processing and welding technology.

BS3601 Production Tolerance

Thickness as a percentage of outside diameter:

Where the legth is specifed as “exact length” or“cut length”, the permissible deviation shall be + 6, -0 mm for lengths up to and including 6 m.For every 3 m increase in length above 6 m, the plus tolerance shall be increased by 1.5 mm with a maximum of 12.0 mm.

Chemical Requirements of BS3601

The raw material steel used in our BS3601 pipeline meets strict chemical composition requirements. There are extremely strict composition requirements for both seamless and welding. This ensures the production of pipes with high strength, the performance required to withstand harsh environmental conditions, as well as consistency and high quality.

Mechanical Requirements of BS3601

The BS3601 pipes manufactured by Pandapipe meet stringent mechanical performance requirements. For example, elongation test, flattening test, water purification test, etc. They are designed to withstand high pressures without leakage. Each pipe is tested in still water to ensure that there are no leaks in the wall.
