What are the materials used to make boiler pipes?

Boiler pipes are usually made of carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and occasionally non-ferrous metals such as copper and nickel alloys.

The choice of materials will be selected according to the operating temperature, pressure, corrosion resistance and other factors.

  • Choose materials that are resistant to corrosion, such as stainless steel and alloys with high oxidation resistance.
  • Implement a reasonable water treatment program, regulate pH and oxygen content, and try to remove impurities in the water.
  • A protective coating or lining is applied to the surface of the pipe to form a barrier against corrosive elements.
  • Do a good job of regular inspection, maintenance and cleaning, timely detection and solution of corrosion problems, to ensure the safe and stable operation of boiler pipes.
