What Is An Angle Iron?An angle iron is actually a long strip of steel with an L-shaped cross-section. The two sides of the angle iron are perpendicular to each other at a 90-degree angle.
What Is An Angle Iron?
Angle iron comes in two types: equal-sided angle iron, where the two sides of the L-shape are equal, and this is the most common type, usually expressed in millimeters as side width × side width × side thickness (∠40×40×6).
The other type is unequal-sided angle iron, expressed in millimeters as side width × side width × side thickness (∠100×60×5).
