SHS pipe stands for Structural Hollow Section Pipe. It is a structural hollow section pipe. Different from ordinary circular pipes, it is a hollow pipe with a square cross-section. The four sides of the pipe are equal in length.

Because of its square cross-section, SHS pipe has the same moment of inertia in all directions, resulting in excellent resistance to bending and torsion. Furthermore, SHS pipe has a modern, simple appearance. Therefore, SHS pipe is commonly used in building structures (load-bearing components such as columns, beams, and trusses) and machinery manufacturing (such as supports and guardrails for mechanical equipment).
